Born For This is a contemporary, musical journey through the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ, based on the Stations of the Cross. It combines beautiful spoken narration and an original song for each Station. There is also an optional 'Prologue' with narration reflections for Passover, Gethsemane and The Arrest, but there's no song for those scenes.

It works especially well with secondary schools, youth groups, and parish communities, but can be adapted for a wide range of ages and contexts, and has been used very effectively by many primary schools. Our own productions over the years have been an all-age experience, which have included cast members as young as 10, and others over 70.

No. To present the core Born for This production the way that we teach you in the Online Workshop, you'll need about 4 narrators, 5 soloists and 3 other performers to play the soldiers and Jesus. You can optionally augment that core cast with a supporting cast and chorus of almost any size. 

You can also easily adapt the production to present it with fewer people - perhaps just a couple of readers, with slides of the Station of the Cross instead of a live drama, and play the tracks from the Digital Audio Album if you haven't got live singers and musician available.

Many schools and parishes prepare a Born For This production within one half-term, though this depends on rehearsal time and group size, and how familiar key leaders are with the piece. We have, in the past, prepared all supporting cast and chorus for a production in just one day.
